Gone are the days when you would head out on the trail with your swimming speedo and your knife!
 
We are all carrying electronic devices at all times now (phone, GPS, safety beacon, camera, go pro, etc..), and thus the need to recharge them wherever we are.
 
Luckily for us, setting up a convenient way to power them on our bikes is easy and after many product testing through the worst conditions, we finally found a 12V USB Charger Socket that matches all our requirements!
 
Dual USB ports (because charging more than one device simultaneously is a must!)
Quick Charge 3.0 rated port (because a running GPS app/device can drain your battery faster than it charges on a conventional USB charger)
Voltmeter function (useful to keep an eye on your bike's battery status when charging at camp)
Integrated ON/OFF switch to simplify dash mounting and direct or permanent hot wiring. It has zero parasite current draw when off.
Robust and weatherproof design (full aluminum body with tight-fitting spade connectors in the back and a rubber lid with lip edge and plugs to effectively seal the front when closed)
 
Mounting can be done on any surface, dashboard, or bracket, simply through a 1" 1/8 hole and secured in with the back nut.
 
We offer 2 variants in the menu option:
Black body socket with Blue LED for the voltmeter (blue light is the easiest to see in a bright daylight situation
Red body socket with Red LED for the voltmeter (red light is generally less disturbing at nighttime)
 
Note: Most electronic circuit boards still draw a residual current even if there are unused (no devices plugged on USB ports) when connected to an active power source (your bike's battery).
 
Thanks to the switch, you can connect this socket to a permanent 12V or straight to the battery and you won't risk killing your battery even after months.
