Keep your cool with our adhesive heat shield mat. This mat can be used anywhere on your bike to reflect heat away from a surface—typically used on the bottom of your fuel tank, air box, fairings, and plastic body, bags, or seat bottom.
The aluminum foil-faced fibreglass fabric is designed to reflect as much as 90% of radiant heat. If you replace your plastic panels, the new ones will most likely come without them.
It would be best if you reapplied this heat shield underneath the muffler side. Face the aluminized side toward the source of heat to shield heat away. This product withstands 1100°F of radiant heat and up to 450°F of direct heat,
