Are you considering a suspension upgrade for your bike? You probably know that the oil quantity is an important parameter when setting up your fork.

The problem is that measuring a volume is nowhere near as accurate as measuring the actual height above the oil level, so reputable suspension specialists like Cogent Dynamics use this measurement.

Sure, you can get by with a ruler, but honestly, it's hard to see, and there's nothing like doing a proper job with the appropriate tool.

The Fork Oil Level Tool is perfect for checking and adjusting the internal fork oil volume on all conventional and single-chamber cartridge forks. The aluminum measuring tube features laser-etched measuring marks from 0 to 300mm in 5mm increments to cover all forks on the market.

The syringe has a 60ml capacity for adding or removing fork oil to ensure a balanced height in both forks, and it's very simple to use:

  1. Pour down the approximate volume/height required or slightly more.
  2. Set the aluminum measuring tube to the exact height required.
  3. Set the tube inside the fork with the locking collar resting on top of the fork.
  4. Suck the extra oil and voila! Perfect height!

Get one for your toolbox, and be ready to work on your fork like a pro!
