Typical recommendations:
The stock spring rate on the KLR Gen1 is .40 kg/mm for the entire travel.
By getting springs with a Dual rate of .40/.60 kg/mm, you can keep great comfort on the small bumps but improve greatly handling in the rougher stuff.
It is a great improvement working very well for most riders under 250lbs (without gear).
These springs work perfectly with the Cogent DDC valves and for a complete fork upgrade kit.
