The stock gear setup on the Honda XR650L is 15T front sprocket and 45T rear sprocket in a 520 width.
This setup offers a good balance between on-road cruising and off-road torque, but many riders swap to a 14T front or 48T rear for more grunt in the dirt. If you ride fast open terrian such as the desert, a smaller rear (like 44T or 43T) can help.
