So you are ready to put on excellent grips like the ProGrip 714 or Pro Taper Pillow Top grips, but you realize the stock ones are glued to the throttle body. No more fighting with your throttle.
 
Additionally, some stock throttle tube are closed at the end. That generates extra friction against the bar should the assembly move, but it also requires cutting into it to install the must-have handguards for adventure riding.
 
Get a new one and mount your grips on a fresh tube!
 
This model fits the Honda XR650L 1993-current.
