A simple but nifty little part for your DR-Z400!
The DR-Z400 ignition barrel is known to be located in a not-so-great spot. It's already somewhat difficult to access when the bike is stock, but if you add handguards, the mounting clamp can be right in the key area!
This key switch relocating bracket eliminates interference with handguards. With handguards mounted, there is simply no room to insert the key if the switch is in the stock placement.
This is why many DR-Z riders opt to move the ignition on the side, typically the right side but you can choose left as well. By relocating the ignition switch to a horizontal position you can easily access the ignition switch again!
This little bracket will allow you to mount the barrel properly on the two bolts of the fork triple clamp. It's a quick job to make it neat and tidy, keeping an even clamping force on the fork, instead of trying to reuse the one bolt stock bracket.
