What is one of the first and essential mods for comfort and better handling your Kawasaki KLR650 Gen3?
You are lowering your footpegs. Unless you have short legs, almost all riders can feel cramped, have knees up uncomfortably high, and are over-flexed when riding the bike.
The stock mounts are high for no real reason. Swap them out for these lowering brackets to drop your footpegs by 1″ and save about a pound! Unlike relocation peg brackets, these do not sit lower than the bottom of the frame.
They are compatible with any footpeg that fits the KLR, stock, aftermarket, and skid plates you may have installed.
Once installed, re-adjust your controls (shifter and brake pedal) and the mechanical brake switch to your taste. You can either open the spring loop end and re-bend it longer or install our Rear Brake Light Switch Delete Kit.
