What is one of the first and essential mods for comfort and better handling of your Kawasaki KLR650?

Lowering your footpegs. Unless you have very short legs, almost all riders can feel a little cramped, have knees up uncomfortably high, and are over-flexed when sitting on the bike.

The stock mounts are high for no real reason. Swap them out for these lowering brackets to drop your footpegs by 1.5″ and shift them to the rear by 1". Unlike any relocation pegs brackets, these do not sit lower than the bottom of the frame.

They are compatible with any footpeg that fits the KLR, stock, or aftermarket and any skid plates you may have installed.

Once installed, re-adjust your controls to your taste (shifter and brake pedal) and the mechanical brake switch. You can either open the loop end and re-bend it longer or install our Rear Brake Light Switch Delete Kit.
