We've updated the oil cooler protection Version 2 for the DR650. We changed the material thickness from 2mm to 3mm for better shape retention on impact and used a threaded rivet nut on mounting tabs.
Still, aluminum allows it to stay lightweight to avoid adding stress to the radiator brackets while offering excellent protection from flying debris.
Also, this Version 2 will be exclusively available in a polished aluminum finish.
It will offer better coverage than the flimsy OEM on the top and bottom part of the cooler with fold-back sections and use an original "chevron" cut for the grill pattern.
