If you're servicing the top end of your Honda XR650L, don’t overlook this little guy. The valve cover O-ring might seem minor, but it’s key to keeping your engine sealed and leak-free.
 
Over time, heat and age take their toll — causing the O-ring to harden, flatten, or crack. That’s when oil starts seeping from the valve cover, making a mess and potentially leading to low oil levels if left unchecked.
 
If you’re in there for valve adjustments or cleaning things up, replacing this O-ring is cheap insurance.
