Construction
It has a 5 mm base and 3 mm walls and can withstand even the roughest impacts. It's TIG welded by hand with meticulous control and careful attention to results. The welds are large and visible, reflecting the functionality of a rally bike bash plate.
 
Design
Using a thoughtful design that covers the engine, water pump, and rear shock linkage, this skid plate is built to protect the front and bottom of your engine like no other. It's carefully crafted to distribute the load evenly, using 3mm stainless steel brackets and fasteners to create 8 fixing points to the frame, ensuring a sturdy installation.
 
Like most modern engines, the CP2 runs hot and keeping it well-ventilated is a must!
 
Unfortunately, the front area of the engine is quite unsightly. Still, using a series of very sturdy horizontal bars and aluminum mesh, the THOR skid plate ensures optimal ventilation to keep your engine running cool while ensuring a high degree of protection against gravel and rocks!
 
Finish
You can choose a raw aluminum finish for an authentic, handcrafted look. The skid plate is manually brushed to reduce welding marks. Or you can go with the best-selling and most popular: the wrinkled-black paint finish. It goes perfectly with the T700 black engine and works well with all plastic colours.

Aftermarket exhausts compatibility
They are tested and approved with all complete kits from Akrapovic, SS Project, SP Corse, XRacing, Fresco, Mivv and Arrow collectors. 

Note: From those tests, the THOR might be compatible with all the aftermarket collectors.
 
Central stand compatibility
The genuine Yamaha center stand assembly fits perfectly.
To mount the central fixing of the skid plate it is necessary to partially disassemble the central stand, mount the sump guard support and refit the stand. 

Note: Not tested with other center stand manufacturers.
